Common issues

My recording didn't transcribe

Make sure you have an active internet connection for cloud transcription. On-device transcription works offline but may be less accurate for longer recordings. Try re-processing from the recording detail screen.

How do I change my AI provider?

Go to Settings → AI Provider and select your preferred provider. Pro subscribers can use Claude or OpenAI without providing their own API keys.

Can I use Noted without a subscription?

Yes! The free plan includes unlimited recordings with on-device transcription and AI summaries using your own API keys. The Pro plan adds cloud transcription and included AI processing.
